About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment process for a company specializing in accounting and business management software for the produce industry. This role involves sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, ensuring that the company attracts high-caliber talent to support its innovative approach to information management in the fresh food supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interviewing, and selection to offer negotiation and onboarding for 10-15 roles annually.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Attend job fairs at local colleges such as Fresno State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
  • Conduct initial screenings, in-depth interviews, and assessments to identify qualified candidates who meet both the technical and cultural requirements of the company.
  • Handle the preparation and negotiation of job offers, ensuring competitive and fair compensation packages in line with market standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in-house at the corporate level.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and tools (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team member.
