About the position

Power Solutions International (PSI) is a leading manufacturer of emissions-certified powertrains specializing in customized and fully integrated turnkey solutions for the leading global equipment manufacturers in the industrial, transportation, and energy markets. Our facilities are housed in one million square feet of engineering, assembly, operations, and distribution space across seven facilities. We are positioned to meet the high production volumes of our customers with added capacity for growth. As an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team's recruiting strategy in Wisconsin, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and extending offers to diverse pools of qualified candidates. Working with the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will have an innovative approach to recruiting, building internal and external business relationships, and helping the company reach its growth goals. The position will be based in our facility in Beloit, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Screens applicants and selects qualified candidates while providing input to ensure teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager and/or other staff during offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Conduct intake and ongoing weekly meetings with hiring managers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Incorporate existing hiring process into your recruiting strategy to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Work to ensure staffing needs are being met guided by current and future goals.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Effectively utilize our applicant tracking system for documentation, tracking, and communication.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years experience in a talent acquisition or similar role.
  • Bachelors degree or comparable work experience required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Paycom is preferred).
  • Proven success in a high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with social media, resume databases, and professional networks to proactively source candidates.
  • Solid computer skills: MS Office Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
