As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our VNACJ Community Health Center & Children Family Health Institute by managing the recruiting process as if it were your own business. You will utilize your best sourcing strategies, your network, and our employee referral program to fill open positions across several disciplines, with a particular focus on nurses and home health aides. In this position, you will develop client relationships and offer consultation on the best sourcing and evaluation methods while deepening your knowledge about our various service lines. You will use metrics to communicate trends and tackle recruiting challenges effectively. As an ambassador for VNA Health Group, you will lead an amazing candidate experience, helping candidates understand how their values and skillset align with our culture and mission. You will guide candidates through the hiring process, explaining how our employees are onboarded and trained. Additionally, you will engage in special initiatives such as branding, campus recruiting, employee referral programs, exploring recruiting technologies, and providing training for managers on talent attraction and assessment. To stay current in the talent acquisition field, you will partner with your manager on development goals, identifying targeted seminars, certifications, conferences, and other training opportunities that will enhance your career. You will also share your learnings with colleagues to help them improve their skills as well.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting process as if it were your own business.
  • Utilize sourcing strategies, networks, and employee referral programs to fill open positions, focusing on nurses and home health aides.
  • Develop client relationships and offer consultation on sourcing and evaluation methods.
  • Use metrics to communicate trends and tackle recruiting challenges.
  • Act as a VNAHG ambassador to candidates, helping them understand how their values and skillset fit into our culture and mission.
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process, explaining onboarding and training procedures.
  • Engage in special initiatives like branding, campus recruiting, and employee referral programs.
  • Explore recruiting technologies and provide training for managers on talent attraction and assessment.
  • Investigate ways to stay current in the talent acquisition field and partner with your manager on development goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field; experience may be accepted as a substitute.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with Full-Cycle Recruiting and Social Media presence.
  • Ability to identify top talent and understand the business and roles.
  • Influence, coach, and counsel Hiring Managers through the assessment and selection process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interview skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and drive results.
