About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Modivcare is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for the Personal Care business line. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and negotiating offers for candidates, while also building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified talent. The specialist will collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various channels to identify and attract top talent.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through networking and outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments through resume reviews and phone screenings.
  • Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on market trends and talent availability.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare interviewers and candidates with relevant information and guidance.
  • Gather feedback from interviewers to refine the selection process.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop competitive job offers.
  • Navigate offer discussions with candidates considering market conditions and internal equity.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for new employees and address onboarding questions.
  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in talent acquisition or related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of various sourcing techniques and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in recruitment.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Experience with DEIB best practices and strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Workday and/or ApplicantStack.
