About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at MAS Medical Staffing is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to acquire new talent for the company. This role involves collaborating with hiring leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies, pre-screening candidates, managing the onboarding process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The specialist will also contribute to process improvements and innovative talent acquisition practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Pre-screen and interview candidates to assess skills and fit for roles.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire checklists to ensure a positive transition for new employees.
  • Oversee the full life-cycle recruitment process from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Meet department goals related to calls, screens/interviews, and hires.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute recommendations.
  • Research and execute new sources for candidate recruiting.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Manage candidate profiles and onboarding process in Bullhorn accurately and timely.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with TA team members on new business recruiting as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of Call Center or Customer Service experience.
  • Experience with Healthcare recruiting (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition (preferred).
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using virtual platforms for interviewing.
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare recruiting is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition is preferred.
