About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle talent acquisition process for the Las Vegas office of Northwestern Mutual. This role involves sourcing, recruiting, and selecting financial advisors while continuously improving the recruitment strategies. The specialist builds relationships to promote career opportunities, generate referrals, and develop leadership within the firm. Creativity, exceptional communication skills, and a drive to achieve are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Execute district office recruiting plan to reach production goals
• Leverage referral network within the firm to generate leads (advisors, management, staff)
• Develop qualified leads via LinkedIn & beyond
• Promote the benefits of network growth and recruiting successes within the office
• Coordinate advertising & marketing strategies within the firm and community
• Schedule and conduct initial interviews for the Financial Advisor role
• Guide and coordinate candidates through the four-step selection process
• Work closely with leadership team to enhance the candidate experience
• Meet weekly with recruiting team to review pipeline and results
• Utilize firm-wide supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years of experience in recruiting or sales (preferred)
• Proactive, forward-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Disciplined, ambitious, and motivated by growth opportunities
• Strong relationship-building skills
