About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Robert Half, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Onboarding Specialist with various recruitment efforts for open positions. This includes handling paperwork, contacting candidates, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates and representing the company at recruitment events, which will involve developing relationships with vocational and trade schools. Your role will require you to visit these schools to build connections and showcase the organization effectively. In addition to these responsibilities, you will serve as the primary point of contact for outside recruiters, managing job postings and requisitions. You will also maintain and create the company's job descriptions and update wage scales as necessary. As an in-house recruiter, you will strategize on innovative ways to fill positions and collaborate with the Marketing department to enhance the company's social media presence. You will coordinate weekly recruiting update calls and meetings with the onboarding team, ensuring that everyone is aligned on the status of open positions. Your sourcing efforts will utilize a variety of methods and tools, including platforms like Indeed and the internal applicant tracking system, as well as leveraging relationships with schools. Additionally, you will send out monthly reports to hiring managers regarding the status of their open positions, including job posting statistics and inquiries about the necessity of the positions. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to utilize computers, software applications, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, candidates, recruiters, and others.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Positive interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Current California driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
