About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Salem Health is responsible for coordinating recruitment operations, managing special projects, and ensuring adherence to lean principles within the Talent Acquisition (TA) department. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate planning activities, monitor departmental performance, and support recruitment efforts. The specialist will also serve as a backup for departmental positions and flexibly take on responsibilities based on business demand.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates TA's participation in special projects, serving as the point of contact during organizational endeavors requiring significant recruitment operations.
  • Facilitates planning activities for TA operations, advising on strategies for data distribution and accountability structures.
  • Partners with TA Supervisors and Manager to ensure visibility to lean expectations for the TA program.
  • Facilitates audits to ensure adherence to verification and validation of required criteria in alignment with job descriptions.
  • Serves as back-up for departmental positions during vacancies, fully trained as a recruiter.
  • Serves in a TA generalist capacity, flexing responsibility dependent upon business demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible recruitment support or administrative experience required.
  • Experience using databases, tracking, and entering data required.
  • Ability to investigate problems, make evaluations, and provide consultation to others required.
  • Knowledge of recruiting systems and hiring processes desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in quality control, regulatory compliance, and problem solving preferred.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
