As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, source top talent, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple positions across various organizational departments and levels. You will be entrusted with managing confidential and sensitive information, requiring a strong commitment to data protection and privacy. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to conducting phone screenings and new employee orientation. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies. Additionally, you will utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. You will also be responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews, promoting the company's employer brand, maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to new employee orientation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
  • Promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other networking opportunities to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Generate recruitment reports and analytics to track key metrics and improve the hiring process.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies to align with business needs.
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the Central Valley, California area or similar markets.
  • Proven ability to source and attract top talent across various roles and industries.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in recruitment within AgTech, Technology and Agriculture.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
