About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Jane Pauley Community Health Center is responsible for developing and executing hiring strategies to attract qualified candidates. This role encompasses the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening applicants to onboarding new hires. The specialist will collaborate closely with executives and department leaders to ensure staffing needs are met while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all open requisitions and keep all parties updated on progress.
  • Prepare and extend offers of employment, including provider contracts.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to identify and engage top talent for various positions.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews for clinical roles.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pools to expedite future hiring.
  • Network with local schools and organizations to create applicant pipelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at career fairs and recruiting events.
  • Maintain candidate communication and documentation in the ATS.
  • Oversee HRIS/ATS system upgrades and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in operational workforce planning and collaborate with HR leaders on recruitment needs.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand job requirements and company culture.
  • Track and manage recruiting metrics and contribute to TA dashboard reporting.
  • Assist in educating leadership on labor laws and recruitment policies.
  • Evaluate and enhance recruitment processes and tools.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new providers and ensure a positive experience.
  • Create and update job descriptions based on research and input from hiring managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 2-3 years of related experience in talent acquisition or human resources.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws.
