About the position

Alkegen has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Talent team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to identify, attract, and hire top talent for the organization. The TA Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders to deliver an exceptional candidate experience and contribute to the organization's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through networking, job boards, social media, internet research, etc.
  • Review resumes in Workday, compare to the role brief and their alignment to Alkegen values.
  • Conduct initial phone screening of candidates and recommend candidates for further screening by hiring manager.
  • Create interview schedules and seamlessly manage coordination between candidate and hiring teams.
  • Coordinate pre-hire process to include pre-employment screening, preparing new hire paperwork, processing new hires in Workday, assisting hiring managers with first day preparation.
  • Track key success indicators such as time to fill, internal promotions and diverse hires.
  • Create a first class candidate experience at every stage in the talent acquisition process from phone screening, to scheduling interviews, to pre-hire process.
  • Ensure ATS process is being followed such as interview feedback being captured and candidates managed through the correct stage consistently.
  • Attend hiring events, information sessions and job fairs and represent the Alkegen brand.
  • Report and present out to SLT with key recruitment updates.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of recruiting (agency or internal)
  • Excellent resourcing skills and ability to work at pace whilst having a good eye for detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with WorkDay (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of modern resourcing techniques
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn.
