About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in the recruitment process at ACA, focusing on sourcing, scheduling, and processing candidates and new hires. This position is responsible for building and maintaining talent pipelines, prequalifying candidates, and coordinating the hiring process in collaboration with Corporate Recruiters. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks while positively representing ACA's employer brand.

Responsibilities

  • Build qualified and diverse candidate pipelines for assigned roles and keep engaged through the process.
  • Work with the recruiting team to identify talent needs and successful candidate profiles.
  • Identify and contact potential candidates through various sourcing avenues.
  • Prequalify candidates for job and culture fit, experience, and salary expectations.
  • Track and assist with registration for career fairs, job postings, and candidate assessments.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and effective communications to candidates to positively impact ACA's employer brand.
  • Conduct research and update the team on new and changing recruitment and sourcing technologies and methods.
  • Maintain and update the ATS with correct and accurate information and status for all candidates.
  • Schedule onsite interviews with multiple participants and coordinate travel for candidates if necessary.
  • Coordinate all pre-hire processes including reference checks, background checks, and drug screens.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects to improve the talent acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Track and prepare weekly/monthly reports communicating recruiting activities.

Requirements

  • Driven self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources or Marketing, or relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), email marketing, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar resume databases preferred.
  • Strong partnership and service skills to support the recruiting team, candidates, and hiring managers.
