This position is essential in ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top talent to meet its operational needs. The specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies that align with the current and future workforce requirements of the hospital and regional levels. This includes sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers to ensure that the best candidates are selected for open positions. In addition to traditional recruitment methods, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will leverage social media platforms to create engaging content that promotes the organization and attracts potential candidates. This includes creating videos, posts, and other forms of content that highlight the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare. The specialist will also be tasked with building and maintaining online communities that support recruitment initiatives, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates. Collaboration is key in this role, as the specialist will work closely with the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, other TA teams, hiring managers, and senior leadership to ensure that recruitment practices meet the organization's needs. The ability to develop and negotiate job offers, as well as proficiency in using electronic applicant tracking systems, is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions within the healthcare system.
  • Develop and implement recruiting and selection strategies for sourcing that address current and future workforce needs.
  • Source and screen candidates for assigned job openings, ensuring minimum qualifications are met.
  • Coordinate and track interviews with hiring managers.
  • Work closely with the Regional TA Manager, TA Teams, hiring managers, and other facility human resource staff.
  • Build and maintain online communities in support of recruitment initiatives.
  • Create engaging social media content to enhance the organization's recruitment presence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience developing and negotiating job offers.
  • Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience using a variety of sourcing techniques to attract active and passive candidates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Demonstrates positive interpersonal and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Two years of talent acquisition experience, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing, preferably in healthcare.
