About the position

The position involves managing the recruitment process for Gordon Food Service, focusing on sourcing and hiring top-quality candidates for various roles within the organization. The recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure effective recruitment strategies, maintain compliance with applicant tracking systems, and drive metrics to improve the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for a functional area, collaborating with hiring managers on new and replacement requisitions.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements.
  • Prepare and present offer letters to candidates.
  • Manage workload using process metrics and KPIs such as Time to Fill and Quality of Hire.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics including position control list and turnover reporting.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to drive applications.
  • Utilize sourcing platforms to find passive candidates and contribute to social media campaigns.
  • Create interview guides and evaluation tools for hiring teams.
  • Evaluate resumes and screen candidates using defined recruitment methods.
  • Conduct applicant screening interviews to gather work history and qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and debriefs with interview teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years of recruiting, customer service, or sales experience, or 5 or more years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in recruiting or related fields.
  • Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • SPHR or PHR Certification is desirable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Suite and applicant tracking software.
  • Familiarity with video conference hardware and software.
