About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Planned Parenthood of Michigan is responsible for executing the recruitment strategy and managing the candidate experience from application through to offer. This role involves collaborating with the People, Culture & Equity Team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment process while maintaining confidentiality and a commitment to race equity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the candidate experience from application through offer.
• Schedule candidate interviews and track candidate activity through an ATS.
• Source candidates through various channels including networking, social media, and career fairs.
• Develop strategies to attract qualified candidates to open positions.
• Serve as the point of contact for candidates and interview teams regarding interview schedules and questions.
• Coordinate candidate travel and manage expenses as needed.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Ensure compliance with affiliate policies and state/federal regulations.
• Support retention efforts by conducting retention interviews and summarizing findings.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrated commitment to Planned Parenthood's mission and values.
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
