About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at TILL plays a crucial role within the Human Resources Department, focusing on the recruitment of personnel across all agency positions. This position is vital for ensuring that TILL can attract and retain top talent, which is essential for the organization's mission of providing support to adults with developmental disabilities, learning differences, acquired brain injuries, and other specialized needs. The specialist will be responsible for developing a robust talent pipeline by engaging with schools, retirees, and professionals interested in a career in Human Services. The role involves designing and implementing effective recruiting strategies, conducting data analysis to evaluate recruitment efforts, and promoting TILL's reputation as a desirable workplace. The specialist will also be tasked with establishing academic contacts at various educational levels, assessing applicants, and matching them with suitable open positions. Familiarity with the agency's vacancies and departmental needs is essential, as is the ability to utilize databases and social media for candidate recruitment. This position is based out of TILL's Administrative Office in Dedham, MA, and requires travel throughout the Greater Boston area, including the North/South Shore and Metro West regions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, with a starting salary of $22 per hour and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a recruiting strategy.
  • Conduct data analysis of recruitment efforts to determine future strategy and promote TILL's reputation as the 'best place to work'.
  • Develop academic contacts at all levels of education and assess applicants to match them with open positions.
  • Recruit candidates using databases and social media.
  • Familiarize with all vacancies within the agency and the available schedules.
  • Understand each department's individual needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • A current driver's license and a car are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and strong organizational skills required.
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality to develop new marketing areas for human service professionals.
  • Ability to explain the mission of human services and the satisfaction in helping others.
  • Familiarity with social media to attract millennials.
