About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for clinic and management/support functions. This role involves developing recruiting plans, utilizing traditional and social media sourcing strategies, and implementing creative ideas to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. The specialist acts as a business partner, collaborating with internal teams and hiring managers to understand role requirements and departmental culture, ensuring a positive candidate experience and effective onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinic and management/support functions.
  • Research and recommend competent talent for open positions.
  • Develop recruiting plans and employ traditional sourcing strategies and social media resources.
  • Create new and creative recruiting ideas to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Act as a business partner to work closely with internal teams and hiring managers.
  • Develop strategies to source and qualify candidates.
  • Execute the recruitment process including resume screening, phone screens, interviews, assessments, and offer extension.
  • Implement additional sourcing strategies to increase candidate flow through community outreach, job fairs, and staffing agencies.
  • Track activities and facilitate the hiring process from candidate to onboarding.
  • Monitor hiring manager practices to ensure timely review and interviewing of candidates.
  • Coach hiring managers during the selection process to ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Maintain knowledge of EEO and affirmative action guidelines and laws.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during the offer process, recommending salary ranges and start dates.
  • Extend formal job offers and track offers to ensure timely onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a primary focus on recruiting and onboarding.
  • Experience interviewing candidates.
  • Experience with social media tools for recruiting.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy in communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
