About the position

The Human Resources Recruiter at NeighborHealth is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing employment practices to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role focuses on both recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring that the health center attracts and retains qualified personnel to support its mission of improving community health.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an active recruitment program using various resources.
• Plan and carry out recruitment activities for approved vacant positions.
• Track and report progress of open positions to the HR Manager weekly.
• Interview external applicants and verify factual information regarding their employment history and qualifications.
• Interview internal employees for transfer or promotion eligibility and coordinate the process with the hiring manager.
• Provide routine information to office visitors and applicants regarding benefits, policies, and employment opportunities.
• Familiarize oneself with NeighborHealth's benefits packages and discuss them with applicants.
• Comply with all Standards of Conduct, JCAHO policies, and laws related to employment responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school education required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in recruitment; previous employee relations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of human resources laws and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
