About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, which includes recruiting, screening, and recommending placement of staff by utilizing creative sourcing methods. This role is crucial in overseeing the administrative recruiting processes, conducting applicant background and drug screenings, and managing the dispositioning of candidates and employees in the applicant tracking system. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that the recruitment process is efficient and effective, aligning with the company's staffing goals and compliance with industry regulations. In this position, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will coordinate the work of the recruiting team to ensure that processes and procedures are consistent across the board. They will partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals. The Specialist will screen resumes, conduct interviews (both by phone and in person), administer appropriate assessments, and perform reference/background checks. They will make recommendations for hire or not hire and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned territory. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will communicate important employment information during the delivery of employment offers, including benefits, compensation, relocation, and non-complete agreements. They will serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within their assigned territory and manage the internal transfer process, which includes screening, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and preparing transfer offer letters. The Specialist will assist in managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), provide support and training to supervisors and managers when necessary, and ensure that the flow of candidates is managed effectively. The role also involves responding to employee and outside inquiries regarding pre-screening processes, employee onboarding, transfers, job ads, and credential verifications. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting processes and provide suggestions for improved efficiency. They will interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, standards, or regulations, manage application/resume files according to company policy, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. All responsibilities must be performed in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data. Familiarity with and adherence to the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including Privacy and Security policies, is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of prior job-related experience preferred.
  • Recruiting experience required.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment law/regulations and general principles and practices of human resources required.
