About the position

Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its collaborative Human Resources department in either the Irvine or Los Angeles, CA offices. This role is pivotal in performing full life-cycle recruitment to support the firm-wide recruiting strategies and growth initiatives, particularly focusing on the expansion of Langan's Western Region. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner nationally with a dynamic Human Resources team to consult with internal clients, providing recruitment support that drives the fulfillment of business growth objectives. In this position, the individual will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, preparing and presenting offers, and onboarding candidates for both professional technical and non-technical roles. The Specialist will maintain up-to-date intelligence on the candidate market, industry staffing trends, and top sourcing channels, ensuring that Langan attracts and retains the best talent in the industry. Additionally, the role involves building and sustaining a talent pipeline of Langan's core skillsets through the identification and consistent leveraging of key sourcing channels. The Specialist will also support the optimization of social media communication channels to drive recruitment strategy and expand the firm's brand reach. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will compile and update reports of key talent acquisition metrics and perform other duties as requested. Responsibilities

  • Perform full-lifecycle recruitment for professional technical and non-technical roles, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, preparing and presenting offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with management and HR team members to assess and fulfill recruitment needs with top industry talent.
  • Maintain up-to-date intelligence of candidate market, industry staffing trends and top sourcing channels.
  • Build and sustain talent pipeline of Langan's core skillsets through identification and consistent leveraging of key sourcing channels.
  • Support optimization of social media communication channels to drive recruitment strategy and expand brand reach.
  • Compile and update reports of key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; graduate degree relating to HR is a plus.
  • 3+ years full-lifecycle recruiting experience.
  • 1+ years experience within professional services preferred.
  • Direct knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition strategies and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and within groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment capability.
