About the position

Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team. This role is pivotal in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to enhance our exceptional team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop innovative recruitment strategies that ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience. This position is not just about filling vacancies; it’s about enhancing our workplace culture and ensuring that we bring in individuals who embody the spirit of aloha and excellence that Four Seasons is known for. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead the recruitment efforts across the property, overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the offer and onboarding process. You will coach and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage interviews effectively. Your role will also involve creating innovative approaches to support the Talent Acquisition roadmap, focusing on identifying and attracting qualified, diverse candidates for current and future opportunities. Building meaningful relationships with universities and colleges will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will promoting career opportunities and employee movements through internal communication channels. You will network with local organizations and peers to source candidates for current and future openings, organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events, and ensure that all legal and governmental documentation is complete and compliant. Additionally, you will research market and industry trends to target relevant candidate pools and develop best practices for external social media, data mining, and LinkedIn Recruiter to attract top candidates. Reporting to leadership on job activity, candidate flow, and hiring trends will also be part of your duties, as will implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop diverse premier talent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Talent Acquisition (TA) efforts across the property.
  • Develop and manage an effective TA strategy to attract and retain top talent for all positions.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the offer and onboarding process.
  • Coach and collaborate with Hiring Managers on the TA process, including identifying staffing needs and managing interviews.
  • Create innovative approaches to support the TA roadmap for identifying and attracting qualified, diverse candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Build meaningful relationships with universities and colleges.
  • Promote career opportunities and employee movements through internal communication channels.
  • Network with local organizations and peers to source candidates for current and future openings.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Track required certifications for positions.
  • Ensure all legal and governmental documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Research market and industry trends to target relevant candidate pools.
  • Develop and implement best practices for external social media, data mining, and LinkedIn Recruiter to attract top candidates.
  • Produce reports and metrics for leadership, including job activity, candidate flow, and hiring trends.
  • Implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop diverse premier talent.
  • Coordinate all aspects of recruitment, including job postings, interviews, job offers, applicant tracking, and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between the Resort and educational institutions, employment agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze recruitment trends, including turnover, promotions, and industry information, to improve employee retention.
  • Conduct hotel tours for student groups.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation (Embark).

Requirements

  • 2 years of Talent Acquisition Experience.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment and programs including (Workday, Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, Yammer, and Canva).
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
