About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Community Healthcare of Texas is a key member of the Human Resources Team, responsible for promoting the agency as an employer of choice and successfully sourcing, screening, and recruiting talent. This role involves engaging with potential candidates, managing the recruitment process, and facilitating the onboarding of new employees, all while maintaining a positive and energetic approach.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully source and recruit healthcare professionals through social media, referrals, and networking.
  • Create and maintain relationships with potential candidates to build a pipeline for future positions.
  • Initiate innovative strategies to recruit and retain staff.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with HR Manager and hiring managers regarding candidate status and recruitment processes.
  • Review resumes and screen candidates against minimum qualifications.
  • Conduct initial pre-employment screenings for new employees.
  • Facilitate the job offer process in conjunction with hiring managers.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including technology setup.

Requirements

  • Some college required; degree preferred, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment law as it applies to interviewing and hiring.
