About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics plays a crucial role in coordinating recruitment operations and supporting various projects within the organization. This position involves collaborating with management to ensure effective recruitment strategies, monitoring project progress, and facilitating audits to maintain compliance with hiring standards. The specialist will also serve as a backup recruiter and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates Talent Acquisition's participation in special projects, serving as the point of contact during significant recruitment operations.
  • Facilitates planning activities for Talent Acquisition operations, advising on strategies for data distribution and accountability.
  • Partners with TA Supervisors and Manager to ensure visibility to lean expectations for the TA program.
  • Facilitates audits to ensure adherence to verification and validation of required criteria in alignment with job descriptions.
  • Serves as back-up for departmental positions during vacancies, fully trained as a recruiter.
  • Serves in a Talent Acquisition generalist capacity, flexing responsibility based on business demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible recruitment support or administrative experience required.
  • Experience using databases, tracking, and entering data required.
  • Ability to investigate problems, make evaluations, and provide consultation to others required.
  • Knowledge of recruiting systems and hiring processes desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in quality control, regulatory compliance, and problem solving preferred.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
