About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Spalding Consulting, Inc. is responsible for managing the recruitment process for professional, technical, and managerial positions. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, educating candidates about the company, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The position is primarily remote but requires occasional on-site presence in Lexington Park, MD for onboarding and recruitment events.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a customer service champion to hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Recruit, screen, interview, and recommend placement of candidates from internal and external sources.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and HR Director regarding the recruiting process.
  • Educate candidates about Spalding, its culture, benefits, and expectations.
  • Provide compensation analysis and create job offers for selected candidates.
  • Post job opportunities in ATS, job boards, social media, and colleges ensuring OFCCP compliance.
  • Collaborate with technical groups, diverse talent networks, colleges, and technical schools to identify potential candidates.
  • Source and recruit candidates using online recruitment tools and job boards.
  • Develop outreach efforts to support affirmative action goals.
  • Participate in recruitment events supporting military, diversity, and college hiring requirements.
  • Stay informed on employment/technical trends and consult with hiring managers on their impacts.
  • Identify and build networking relationships and a pipeline of candidates.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years' experience working in an office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
