About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in building a talented and diverse workforce to meet the organization's staffing needs. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen understanding of the company's culture and values, and the ability to collaborate effectively with talent acquisition partners, human resource business partners, and hiring managers. Responsibilities will include exposure to and handling of sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates position intake meetings with hiring leaders to determine position requirements and develop recruiting strategy.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain employee records and databases utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) software to organize and update employee information.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate's skills, experience, and fit for available positions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Facilitate candidate outreach events such as career fairs.
  • Manage job postings and applicant tracking systems to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and candidates on the status of their applications and communicate feedback effectively.
  • Welcome and host remote employees and other visitors to the corporate office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working with a wide variety of people in a fast-paced organization, customer service.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
