About the position

SoFi is looking for an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for helping to create and improve recruiting processes and programs. You will work closely across multiple businesses to ensure compliant, data driven, best in class hiring & onboarding! As a member of our growing team, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence our recruiting operations as we scale!

Responsibilities

  • Own, innovate and manage our Employee Referral program
  • Oversee our Background Check and Fingerprinting process and requirements
  • Learn and master our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) to assist with issues and educate the team on best practices
  • Help to manage all other systems in the Recruiting world, including Workday HRIS, LinkedIn, Gem and other external vendors
  • Review existing recruiting processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve and scale our recruiting systems and tools
  • Manage the relationship and renewal process with Recruiting vendors throughout the lifecycle of existing contracts
  • Build and foster cross functional relationships with HR, Legal, Compliance, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits
  • Coordinate and manage the completion of recruitment projects, ensuring deadlines are met and updates or roadblocks are communicated proactively
  • Provide additional operations support to the recruiting team as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Project Management or a similar field
  • 2+ years of experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, and/or Project Management
  • Ability to balance many different high-priority tasks successfully
  • Ability to identify opportunities to innovate and take action toward improvements
  • Passion for identifying and running after problems to implement solutions
  • Strong communication skills to partner with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for enhancing recruitment operations and candidate and employee experience
  • Ability to learn from feedback and past mistakes
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools for data tracking and reporting

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Greenhouse and Workday preferred
  • Experience with G-Suite or Microsoft Office; G-Suite preferred
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects preferred
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders or clients
  • Experience working on an Employee Referral Program in the past preferred
  • Experience working with Legal/Compliance hiring requirements preferred

  • Base pay range: $64,000.00 - $120,000.00
