About the position

The Experienced Recruiter at Marcum LLP is responsible for full cycle recruiting across various roles within the firm, including Client Accounting & Advisory Services, Audit, Tax, and Human Resources Consulting. This position requires a collaborative and fast-paced approach to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, while also developing effective recruitment marketing strategies. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and solutions, ensuring a smooth hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offers.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine recruiting strategies and selection criteria for each open position.
  • Source active and passive candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, and networking events.
  • Lead the candidate interviewing process, including scheduling interviews and presenting candidates to hiring managers.
  • Assist the Human Resources team with Campus Recruiting efforts.
  • Create and develop effective recruitment marketing campaigns to source candidates.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with job postings and candidate details.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR representatives to identify solutions to recruiting challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a human resources department or at a staffing agency.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of recruitment tools and technologies, including ATS and recruiting software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations pertaining to recruiting.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, customer service oriented.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
