About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at MLC is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and developing effective recruitment strategies to attract talent that aligns with the company's culture and values. The specialist will also oversee various HR functions related to recruitment and employee data management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Post job advertisements and coordinate with external employment agencies.
  • Conduct background verifications and administer assessments for candidates.
  • Perform onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Maintain employee data in the human resources system, including new hires and pay changes.
  • Conduct exit interviews with voluntarily separating employees.
  • Oversee I-9 administration, including E-Verify and I-9 audits.
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
  • Assist in other HR special assignments and data/file organization as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Three years of direct experience in talent acquisition or human resources preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Human Capital Management System (HCM) and payroll systems is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office suite of products.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong judgment skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
