As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Jerry's Home Improvement, you will be instrumental in managing the hiring process for various hourly positions, including Stockers, Cashiers, and Sales roles. This position involves engaging with candidates and community organizations to promote Jerry's as an employer of choice, while also providing support and development opportunities for your growth as an HR professional. Responsibilities

• Administer the entire hiring process from job postings to onboarding new Team Members.
• Oversee Jerry's Field Recruiting program, promoting the company with local schools and organizations.
• Position candidates for success by educating them on Jerry's culture, policies, and expectations.
• Serve as a primary source of information about Jerry's pay, benefits, and career opportunities.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System, Excel, and SmartSheets to maintain accurate hiring records.
• Collaborate with the HR and Training team to assist where needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience recruiting hourly employees, especially during high-volume periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with SmartSheets is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally for community events using your own vehicle.
