About the position

Kevin Kelley Concepts is seeking an on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team in downtown Dallas. This role is pivotal in shaping the workforce of our exciting concepts, which include Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley, Kelley Law Firm, KANVAS Sports + Social, and Club Vivo. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent to our organization. You will work closely with leadership to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria that align with our business goals. In this position, you will source potential candidates through various online channels, including social media platforms, job boards, and professional networks. You will plan and execute interview and selection procedures, which will include screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews. Your role will also involve assessing candidate information, including resumes and contact details, to ensure a thorough evaluation process. Additionally, you will design job descriptions and interview questions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position. You will have the opportunity to organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events, fostering long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates. This position requires a strategic mindset and a commitment to building a diverse and talented workforce that reflects our values as a proud minority-owned and operated business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
