About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves managing the full cycle of recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance employee retention and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute talent acquisition strategies, programs, and processes.
  • Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives.
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist in employee retention and development.
  • Determine recruitment and candidate sourcing strategy, establish priorities, strategies, and metrics to align with business goals.
  • Provide full cycle Talent Acquisition services including job posting development, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection processes, offer management, process documentation, compliance management, and status communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition related projects or initiatives with businesses/functions.
  • Develop and maintain internal/external relationships related to the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  • Administer internal systems and create processes to ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Overall responsibility for student rotational programs (co-ops, interns, etc.).
  • Manage the internal posting, development, succession, and recruiting process.
  • Gain market intelligence regarding the talent landscape and competitive market.

Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • 1+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, and implement recommendations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of diverse recruiting strategies.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail orientation.
