About the position

The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist at Salt River Project (SRP) plays a crucial role in enhancing the company's talent acquisition efforts. This part-time contract position involves providing essential administrative support to the recruiting team, ensuring efficient processes for attracting and retaining top talent. The specialist will be responsible for various tasks, including managing new hire operations, coordinating onboarding activities, and maintaining communication with candidates and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the new hire sign-on bonus operations.
  • Be the point person for all new hire relocation services, partnering with our relocation vendor.
  • Answer and direct the dedicated TA phone, email, and ServiceNow ticketing requests.
  • Assist with pre-employment candidate testing functions, candidate interview scheduling, reference checks, and various onboarding functions.
  • Provide various levels of administrative support to all TA team members and leaders.
  • Help drive the new hire first day events and onboarding activities, including preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings.
  • Organize and schedule team calendars, meetings, events, outings, and activities.
  • Plan events and order supplies for team birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.
  • Maintain the TA SharePoint site, ECM, and various folders, adding and organizing accordingly.
  • Create MS documents as needed such as PowerPoints, Excel, and Word.
  • Provide various data, metrics, and documents upon request.
  • Be a regular resource to the many projects in which TA participates and/or drives.
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential while following team and company policies and procedures.
  • Promote SRP's reputation as 'best place to work'.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' work experience as an Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Assistant, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Highly skilled in MS products and computer savvy.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SharePoint and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition processes and best practices.
