About the position

The Talent Acquisition/Technical Recruiter - Contractor at American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. (AESI) is responsible for sourcing, screening, and facilitating the recruitment process for technical positions across multiple departments. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience through effective communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate interview screenings to assess qualifications and skills.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers, stakeholders, and candidates in collaboration with the HR Co-op.
  • Regularly follow up with hiring managers to complete interview feedback forms and transition candidates to the next step in the interview process.
  • Review all outside recruiter submitted candidates for qualification and fit in position, ensuring applications are submitted through the ATS.
  • Coordinate with outside recruiter agencies to ensure candidate accuracy, interview scheduling, and feedback both to and from hiring managers and candidates.
  • Collaborate with human resources and hiring managers to review position descriptions and determine candidate profiles.
  • Implement sourcing strategies that provide for qualified and diverse candidate pools through networking, referrals, job postings, and direct sourcing for passive talent.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in technical recruiting.
  • Direct experience recruiting for a research & development (R&D), technical or manufacturing industry is required.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter module.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity, or similar HRIS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
