About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the full-cycle recruiting process, onboarding, regulatory compliance, and training and development within the organization. This role involves collaborating with management to drive workforce planning initiatives, enhancing onboarding programs, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. The manager will also work on improving the organization's attractiveness to potential candidates by recommending new policies and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting of all team members, excluding production, maintenance, and relay drivers.
  • Conduct interviews, new-member orientations, and paperwork.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing and analyzing responses.
  • Provide recruiting and hiring support by developing recruitment plans and implementing activities such as internal communication and placing ads.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to drive workforce planning initiatives.
  • Establish salary guidelines for hiring and performance evaluations.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, and employment agencies.
  • Enhance onboarding programs to improve retention and reduce turnover.
  • Enter weekly paid personnel information in the HRIS database and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Recommend new policies and practices to improve organization attractiveness.
  • Assist with research to influence HR management initiatives.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation and attending seminars.
  • Coordinate company-sponsored events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field from an accredited university preferred.
  • Previous Human Resources experience with a SHRM or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Experience in dynamic recruiting.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitator skills.
  • Must be hands-on and capable of producing work with limited support staff.
  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation, and flexibility.
