Los Angeles Apparel is seeking a skilled individual to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will lead efforts in identifying, attracting, and hiring talented individuals who align with our company culture and mission. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels including job boards, job fairs, social media, networking, and referrals. You will utilize the Topgrading Methodology to conduct initial phone screenings, interviews, and reference checks to evaluate candidates' skills and experience. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with managers and supervisors across different departments to understand their staffing needs and develop and execute effective recruitment strategies. You will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process from initial contact to the offer stage, ensuring a positive candidate experience by keeping applicants informed of their status and providing timely feedback. Additionally, you will lead periodic check-ins with new hires to ensure their smooth transition into the company. Compliance with all legal requirements and company policies throughout the recruitment process is essential, and you will maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our software systems. To stay competitive, you will need to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition. Regularly reviewing recruiting and onboarding metrics will help you identify areas for improvement, ensuring that our recruitment processes are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
