About the position

The Talent Acquisitions Manager at Howmet Aerospace is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing recruitment team to support the company's growth in the aerospace and transportation industries. This role involves creating effective staffing strategies, overseeing the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations, and establishing metrics to measure recruitment effectiveness. The manager will also work closely with various leaders and HR business partners to align workforce plans with business needs, while promoting Howmet Aerospace as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused team, instilling a culture that supports the business growth plan.
  • Develop cost-effective staffing plans and strategies to meet the talent needs of the business.
  • Assist all Airfoils plants with strategy related to recruiting to meet their business growth plan.
  • Partner with Leaders and HRBP's to create workforce plans supporting the overall needs of the business.
  • Set annual hiring projections/forecasts based on data.
  • Oversee the recruiting life cycle process and streamline internal recruitment processes.
  • Establish hiring criteria for candidate interviews and assessments, assisting in finalizing hiring decisions, especially for senior roles.
  • Ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations in recruitment efforts.
  • Develop, track, and evaluate metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment efforts.
  • Provide training and development to recruiting team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and regulations.
  • Interface with government agents conducting audits on the company's employment policies and practices.
  • Create branding strategies to position Howmet Aerospace as the employer of choice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in team building and management/leadership.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources, including creation of hiring strategy and metrics.
  • Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the segment.
