About the position

The Talent Acquisitions Manager at Howmet Aerospace is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing recruitment team to meet the talent needs of the business. This role involves creating effective staffing strategies, overseeing the recruitment life cycle, ensuring legal compliance, and establishing metrics to measure recruitment effectiveness. The manager will also work closely with business leaders to align workforce plans with business growth objectives and enhance the company's employer branding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused team.
  • Develop cost-effective staffing plans and strategies to meet the talent needs of the business.
  • Assist all Airfoils plants with recruiting strategies to meet their business growth plan.
  • Partner with Leaders and HRBPs to create workforce plans supporting overall business needs.
  • Set annual hiring projections/forecasts based on data.
  • Oversee the recruiting life cycle process and streamline internal recruitment processes.
  • Establish hiring criteria for candidate interviews and assessments, especially for senior roles.
  • Ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations in recruitment efforts.
  • Develop, track, and evaluate metrics to measure recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Communicate recruitment metrics to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and development to recruiting team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and regulations.
  • Interface with government agents conducting audits on employment policies and practices.
  • Create branding strategies to position Howmet Aerospace as the employer of choice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, and other applicant sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in team building and management/leadership.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources, including creation of hiring strategy and metrics.
  • Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts.
