About the position

The Talent Acquisitions Specialist at Howmet is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing candidates to fill vacant positions within the organization. This role emphasizes the importance of representing the Howmet brand positively to prospective hires and ensuring a smooth candidate transition process. The specialist will work closely with hiring leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies and maintain organizational awareness of hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Sources, recruits and interviews applicants and recommends selection to fill vacant positions.
  • Develops sources of qualified applicants and may perform reference and background checks.
  • Counsels with managers, supervisors, and employees at all levels to develop recruitment strategies.
  • Assists with recruiting strategies to ensure attracting and recruiting the best candidates.
  • Writes and places job advertising in various media.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.
  • Manages the maintenance of data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Conducts exit interviews.
  • Administers Relocation Program for internal transfers and new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
