About the position

The Talent Acquisitions Specialist at Walden Security is responsible for managing the recruitment process for various positions within the company. This role involves interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative, and management roles. The specialist will collaborate with the Director of Talent to identify personnel needs and develop effective recruiting strategies, ensuring a thorough and compliant hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and tests for applicants across various positions.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent to identify personnel needs and workforce planning strategies.
  • Review resumes and credentials to assess candidate suitability.
  • Utilize behavioral-based interviewing techniques during candidate assessments.
  • Research and recommend new sources for candidate recruitment.
  • Administer the online career center and utilize electronic tools for talent attraction.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System and related software.
  • Network through industry contacts and associations to source qualified candidates.
  • Develop a pipeline of key talent for succession planning needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on candidates and recruiting activities.
  • Perform background checks and reference investigations on candidates.
  • Extend offers of employment under the guidance of the Director of Talent.
  • Inform applicants about benefits programs and company policies.
  • Write detailed job descriptions and place employment ads across various media.
  • Assist HR Director with performance management and retention projects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of personnel policies and employment laws.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and online recruiting tools.

  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with succession planning and workforce strategies.
  • Strong networking skills within the industry.
