About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, Human Resources at Independent Living Systems is responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent for the organization. This role involves sourcing candidates, implementing recruitment strategies, and collaborating with various departments to meet hiring needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and review job descriptions.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods including ATS, job boards, social media, and networking to identify potential candidates.
  • Engage with passive candidates, build a Talent Pool, and create pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Organize job fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' minimum qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and Hiring Managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate, and manage the offer process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Report recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or a similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
