About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at DreamFields is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for various roles within the cannabis manufacturing industry. This position focuses on high-demand positions, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates to meet the company's rapid growth needs while contributing to employer branding and recruitment process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously for high-demand roles such as production technicians, quality control inspectors, and brand ambassadors.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Maintain a robust candidate pipeline to meet the company's growth needs.
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Utilize behavioral and competency-based interviewing techniques to identify suitable candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidate pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in recruitment activities.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Prepare and present reports on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate diversity.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the company's employer brand.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and community outreach initiatives to attract talent.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in talent acquisition and apply this knowledge to enhance recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, focusing on high-volume recruitment.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales role required.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry or manufacturing sector is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry, including regulatory requirements and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certifications are a plus.
