About the position

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department and manage the recruiting process for our fast-growing company. This position is crucial as it involves overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that we attract and hire the best talent to support our organizational goals. The role can be based in one of our locations: Huntsville, AL, Aberdeen, MD, or Colorado Springs, CO. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing our Applicant Tracking System to ensure that candidates are reviewed and dispositioned in a timely manner. You will coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria that align with our company’s objectives. In addition to sourcing potential candidates through various online channels, including social platforms and professional networks, you will build a talent pipeline by creating long-term relationships with past applicants and new candidates. This proactive approach will help us maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future openings. You will also lead employer branding initiatives to enhance our company’s visibility and attractiveness as an employer of choice. Organizing and/or attending job fairs and recruitment events will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to engage directly with potential candidates and promote our company culture. Occasional travel may be required for recruitment events or to meet with hiring managers at different locations. This role is dynamic and may evolve over time as we continue to assess and refine our recruitment strategies to best support the company's needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting cleared professionals in a Government contractor environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, resume databases, social networking, and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to foster good relationships with hiring managers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with EEO/OFCCP regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability as this position may evolve and change over time.
