About the position

Williston Care Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. Our facility, located in Williston, FL, is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. As a COTA at Williston Care Center, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and administering treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities. Your expertise will be essential in relieving pain, restoring or improving function, and promoting healing. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers, providing clinical support and instruction to ensure the best possible outcomes. It is vital that all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care, and you will be responsible for monitoring patient responses to treatment interventions. Additionally, you will complete all required forms and documentation in compliance with company policy and state/federal regulations, ensuring that our high standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
  • Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
  • Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Current Florida COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one (1) year experience working as a COTA in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
