About the position

The Talent & Development Manager at Compass Corporate is responsible for supporting the Learning and Development Strategy and Talent Management initiatives within Restaurant Associates. This role focuses on enhancing employee experience, developing talent, and ensuring alignment with business objectives through various training and development programs. The manager will work closely with senior leadership to implement strategies that foster a culture of care and support employee growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Learning and Development Strategy and Talent Management initiatives for Restaurant Associates.
  • Coordinate various Leadership Training initiatives including New Leader Orientation and HR Navigator.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the People Matter committee.
  • Facilitate training aligned with Restaurant Associates Culture of Care Strategy.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop leadership development programs.
  • Manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Provide monthly reporting on training surveys, ROI, and talent roll-ups.
  • Coordinate end-to-end project work related to Talent Management projects.
  • Serve as a training liaison and consultant for training projects and HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality/Retail is a plus.
  • 3-7 years of professional HR/L&D/Talent Management experience.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate stakeholder relationships.
  • Consultative approach with analytical problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and experience with multiple HR systems.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training design.
  • Experience with instructor-led and virtual training facilitation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Talent Management Processes such as coordinating Talent Review and Succession Planning.
  • Technically savvy with high proficiency in MS Office and web-based conference services.
