About the position

As a Talent Management Analyst - Instructional Designer at State Farm, you will play a crucial role in the Human Resources & Development (HR D) department, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing top talent within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing modern, level-appropriate content and program curation for associates. This involves thorough consultation, research, implementation, and administration of learning solutions. You will also provide consulting services that support performance-based solutions to business partners, stakeholders, and enterprise associates. Effective communication and change management will be key components of your responsibilities, as you will be tasked with ensuring that programs and materials developed are communicated effectively across the organization. Utilizing appropriate technologies to support learning and knowledge solution design will also be a significant part of your role, allowing you to leverage innovative tools to enhance the learning experience. Responsibilities

  • Support Lead Talent Partners and HR D Strategists as a liaison and consultant for learning and development strategies and solutions.
  • Conduct, direct, or participate in performance analyses.
  • Coordinate the identification and selection of programs to assist with tailored offerings or resources based on identified need or skill building.
  • Coordinate the identification and selection of learning and/or knowledge solutions and methodologies.
  • Develop and design level-appropriate, modern content and program curation for associates, through consultation, research, implementation, and administration.
  • Provide consulting services supporting performance-based solutions to business partners, stakeholders, and enterprise associates.
  • Responsible for effective communication and change management of programs and materials developed for the enterprise.
  • Utilize appropriate technologies in support of learning and/or knowledge solution design.

Requirements

  • Instructional design experience - Rize and Articulate Storyline preferred.
  • Learning Experience Design - Experienced in design and execution of large scale, complex learning initiatives (leader audience preferred); adult learning background.
  • Strong business orientation - Understanding of business objectives, leadership capabilities, and how to establish measurable KPIs & aligned performance/learning objectives.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & marketing mindset, highly creative, innovative, resourceful.
  • Strong project & stakeholder management skills; can manage complexity without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Comfortable presenting to Executives and large audiences, comprised of multiple levels of leadership; articulate and influential; effective storyteller.
  • Operates effectively in dynamic environments; comfort with ambiguity and 'working in the grey'; highly adaptable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in marketing and virtual storytelling is preferred.
