About the position

The Talent Management Project Manager - Pinnacle (Fixed Term) at Stanford University is responsible for developing and implementing strategic talent plans to ensure the organization has the right talent in the right place at the right time. This role focuses on facilitating organizational changes associated with implementing a new ERP system (Oracle Fusion) and leading the development and execution of succession plans for critical roles. The position requires expertise in workforce planning, project management, and talent management strategies, along with strong communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic talent plans to align with business objectives.
  • Lead the development and execution of succession plans for critical roles.
  • Create performance support materials for talent management processes.
  • Partner with schools and units to assess and improve talent review and succession planning processes.
  • Socialize changes and develop change management plans to address barriers.
  • Design and implement training programs on talent management for HR and managers.
  • Establish talent planning metrics and dashboards to track progress and outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in talent management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience in talent management or related field.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing talent management solutions.
  • Strong program/project management skills and experience.
  • Ability to advise and make recommendations to senior management teams.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in workforce analysis and forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle HCM or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of organizational change strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
