About the position

The Talent Management Support position at BTAS is focused on managing the employment needs of the Space Systems Command (SSC) and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the Talent Management Directorate. The role involves disseminating information, tracking actions, preparing documents, and assisting with personnel management functions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all actions, unclassified and/or classified, are disseminated within 2 hours of receipt to the appropriate personnel or organization.
  • Disseminate all completed actions with coordinated/approved documents and supporting documents to the appropriate requesting personnel/organizations within 2 hours of receipt.
  • Track and account for all actions and taskers until suspense date has been met via an acceptable method by the TM Director.
  • Handle actions in accordance with appropriate classification markings.
  • Preserve all actions and taskers for retrieval, development of metrics, and/or data in soft copy.
  • Provide appropriate reminders to ensure suspense dates are met.
  • Support in preparing documents in the appropriate format to meet Air Force and DoD requirements, including reports, talking papers, staff studies, briefings, and SSC communication of policies and templates.
  • Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules, schedule meetings and conferences, and provide responses to routine inquiries.
  • Assist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing and monitoring action items, suspense dates and responses; provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and briefings for staff meetings.
  • Support establishing, developing, and executing the mission of the new Talent Management Directorate within Atlas Corps.
  • Assist with planning, organizing, logistics and executing events and conferences, including securing rooms/location and scheduling audio/visual equipment.
  • Plan, assist, support, execute all activities related to personnel management and human resource functions, including hiring process, on-boarding, awards and decorations, and annual performance appraisal process.
  • Assist with developing and populating resume screening matrices for certificates of eligible candidates for Government employment.
  • Coordinate in-processing for all new employees with the customer, member, and Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC).
  • Provide quarterly status briefings regarding the civilian performance program, including timeliness statistics; develop semi-annual briefings regarding civilian performance policies, duty titles and change of reporting officials.
  • Schedule/monitor civilian performance processing and maintain and update information contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts.
  • Maintain the unit personnel management rosters/unit manning documents and related organizational rosters.
  • Assist with scheduling candidates' interviews, including securing interview room and validating candidate's availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, human resources, or relevant field.
  • An active Secret clearance or higher is required.
