About the position

The Talent Onboarding Assistant at Aultman Health Foundation plays a crucial role in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to their first day of orientation. This position involves developing relationships with new colleagues, managing pre-hire requirements, and assisting the talent team and human resources with various onboarding duties. Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up and monitor all pre-hire requirements once the recruitment team has made an employment offer.
  • Schedule onboarding colleagues with AultWorks and monitor no shows for appointments.
  • Notify colleagues of failed screenings and assemble a complete onboarding file for all new hires.
  • Send over new hire files to the Onboarding Specialist and assist with entering new employees into the Lawson system.
  • Compile and report MVR information and documentation while collaborating with the Compliance team.
  • Monitor and update fingerprint log and regulations supporting this task.
  • Utilize the ATS to send all communications and final acceptance letters to candidates who have cleared pre-hire requirements.
  • Onbase all new hire and transfer files and paperwork into the system.
  • Assist with New Colleague Orientation on virtual and in-person days.
  • Cover shifts in the Colleague Resource Center and sourcing events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a relatable field.
  • Prior Human Resource and systems experience preferred.

  • Ability to think critically and identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
