As a key part of the UTSW onboarding new hire and transfer experience, the Talent Navigator Supervisor is responsible for designing and executing a high touch candidate experience that reflects the UTSW culture and provides an outstanding new hire experience throughout the employee's lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration and partnerships with a wide variety of internal and external partners including applicants, new hires, hiring managers, recruiters, vendors, and UTSW departments within and outside Human Resources. The Talent Navigator team will provide support for new employees beyond orientation, continuing to be a resource for new employees. The Talent Navigator Supervisor will build and lead a new function of Human Resources that emphasizes continuous process efficiency and results. This includes driving onboarding efforts from the time of offer acceptance, through the pre-onboarding process to orientation, and throughout the employees' full lifecycle. The supervisor will oversee a team of navigators, ensuring they are well-trained HR professionals who provide friendly, reliable, and timely HR services. The Talent Navigator team is positioned to provide outstanding service to internal customers and employees for everything from general inquiries to more complex solutions focused on matters such as compensation, leaves of absence, and employment transactions. In addition, the supervisor will compile and monitor daily production reports for the work group, monitor performance standards, and advise management of performance deficiencies and all system and procedural issues that require analysis and resolution. They will also ensure the timely completion of all pre-onboarding activities, including the background check process, and work on special projects relating to issues specific to the area of assignment. The role requires providing orientation and training for team members on policies, procedures, systems, and activities required to perform their jobs efficiently, while collaborating with departments in assigned areas of Human Resources to identify issues, make recommendations, and implement policies and procedures.
