About the position

The Talent Pathways Program Manager for Emerging Careers at SAS is responsible for developing, orchestrating, and monitoring talent pathway programs aimed at building a qualified workforce. This role focuses on entry-level and alternative pathway programs, as well as the internal gig platform, Project Marketplace. The manager will implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness, ensure alignment across divisions, and communicate with stakeholders to promote awareness and engagement in talent initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement strategies for global emerging career talent programs.
  • Drive consistency in program strategies by leveraging and enhancing program standards across various global programs.
  • Ensure alignment of programs, avoiding duplication of efforts across divisions.
  • Collaborate with SAS HR and various divisions to secure support, commitment, and resources for executing emerging career talent programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally to obtain input and buy-in on talent strategy recommendations.
  • Define the talent strategy for project marketplaces to positively impact employee career development and engagement.
  • Serve as the SAS HR liaison for emerging talent initiatives within cross-functional projects and external benchmarking.
  • Develop and track metrics to monitor, analyze, and improve program success.
  • Seek out new ways to enhance programs and their value to the business.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure awareness and information sharing of key program details.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in human resources, including talent acquisition, human resource business partnering, and/or talent development.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Willingness to flex beyond day-to-day responsibilities and work outside of normal business hours for global calls as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully developing, overseeing and executing HR and/or talent programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create detailed reports and impactful presentations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and/or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and driving strategic talent initiatives.
  • Passionate for supporting talent in their career journey, especially entry-level and emerging talent.
